The Resurrection Church men will gather at Lake Pleasant for a day of fun, fellowship, and fishing on Saturday, September 28th!

*Important* Everyone over 10 will need a fishing license.  A youth license is $5 (10-17 years), a regular license (18+) is $11 for a day or $35/year.  

Visit the Arizona Game & Fish website to learn more information.   You can purchase your license via the Arizona Game & Fish website or visit any one of these stores to purchase in person (Wal-Mart is a popular choice).

When and Where are we meeting? 

  •  Meet at 8 AM at the Castle Creek boat ramp at Lake Pleasant. It's located at the north entrance of Lake Pleasant.
Here are the directions to get there.
  •  Take the I-17 north until you get to the Carefree Highway-
  •  Take exit 223B for the 74 West Carefree Highway towards Wickenburg
  •  Drive west for about 15 miles until you get to Castle Hot Springs Road.
  •  Make a right on Castle Hot Springs Rd.
  •  Stay on Castle, Hot Springs Rd. for a few miles 
  •  Drive past the sign that says Lake Pleasant Regional Park.  Do not turn down that road as it takes you to the main entrance. You were looking to go to the north entrance.
  •  At the end of Castle Hot Springs Rd. there will be a T and a stop sign.
  • Make a right at the stop sign. There will be an entry gate. Cost is $8 per vehicle.
  • That takes you onto Castle Creek Drive.
  •  Keep on that road until you get to the parking lot.
  • IMPORTANT- once in the parking lot, toward the end, you find an opening in the gate. Drive along the dirt road until you reach the spot (approx 1,000 yards?).

What to bring:

  •  Your fishing license, appropriate clothes, sunscreen, hat, chair, etc.
  • Fishing gear- Pastor John and Allen are bringing extra fishing poles/gear for anyone who needs it.
  • Drinking water, snacks, etc
  • $8 for parking per vehicle.  Bring the exact amount ($8) as you will leave the money in a box. There won't be anyone to give you change.
